Heritage management services designed to satisfy the requirements of private and public clients, Local Authorities, State and semi-State bodies.

Horizon Archaeology provide heritage management services designed to satisfy the requirements of private and public clients, Local Authorities, State and semi-State bodies.

We have completed hundreds of Licensed excavations, test trenching and monitoring programmes and walkover surveys in urban, greenfield, brownfield and wetland environments. These projects have been carried out for urban renewal schemes, wind farms, residential and industrial projects, hotels, etc. to satisfy conditions attached to our client’s permitted developments.

Our experience also includes preparation of more than 250 desk-based reports and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports throughout Ireland for road schemes, utilities infrastructure, commercial and residential developments, etc. These assessments are designed to avoid, reduce or offset at an early stage adverse effects on the cultural heritage, and to manage risk on behalf of our clients to minimise costs and programme delays.

We use our skills and experience to help our clients satisfy their planning requirements by providing timely, well-communicated, practical advice and best-practice fieldwork services.
